Love the Greenhouse restoration and adaptation of use but ... sorry, must it be a concrete floor? Couldn't it be a system of water permeable substrate and some tile/pavers? less chance of flooding and better for the ground water level etc. I know its to late but maybe think about it for another project you tackle. You are living a version of my dream life and i think you appreciate it which is nice to see. Thanks fro sharing.

Michael, at 6:30 into video, your dad is explaining the work being done in an attic.. There is a sculpture, possibly wood, of a sail ship in background propped in an eave.. I know it was 3 years ago but is it possible to show that sculpture up close? Is it still at the chateau or cottage?

It’s 2024, the first The Pethericks video I ever saw, was the video of Michael playing the organ in the chapel of the convent and the door (beside the organ) opened up all by itself.. They then made references to a ghost in the chapel at the convent.. I’m just now learning of The Chateau’s ghosts..

I’m watching this video 4 years later in 2024 and have seen Stephenie’s Chateau before watching any of Michael’s or The Pethericks.. So interesting in catching up on all of their videos.. Watching how they all came to be..

It can be exhausting waiting for your body to revamp itself.. I found your channel in result of The Petherick Channel.. Now I’m trying to catch up on you and Stephanie’s channels also.. I love seeing families and friends working together.. It’s a very positive thing for all of you.. 💜 I’m so happy you went to hospital to get checked out.. ER trip with chest pain they will check everything.. I’m very familiar with getting a EKG and MRA with contrast.. I do have to mention, the symptoms also can be an anxiety attack.. Talk to your doctor again to follow up..

Hello Michael. I can only hope you see this post. It is with a very heavy heart, that I am bringing this to you. I also watch the Chateau Diaries and Escape to Rural France. I will also be posting this to those channels. This is NOT meant for children. On Friday 6/28/24 the Supreme Court of the US issued 2 devasting rulings which were in themselves enough for any "normal" American to throw up, yesterday, the last day before they go on Independence Day Break ( of all holidays!!!) APPROVED that Donald J. Trump AND all future presidents have "Presidential Immunity for ALL official acts while in office". So, this truly means that a sitting President is ABOVE the LAW. He has more power than any law of the land, including the Supreme Court - AND they WERE RESPONSIBLE for DOING THAT!!! Think about that for a minute. Last night, every single news channel covered it and President Biden put out a special breaking report on it. So, why am I sending this to you??? Well, what the US does, impacts the world, and I hope you know that. The SEC (Securities Exchange Commission - think NYSE) was just gutted of over 100 year old regulations. What agency will be next - the Centers of Disease Control (CDC). This news needs to be spread far and wide - all across the globe. Please at least, think about this and only if the US defends our Democracy, and this is not shut out of existence, the will filter across the globe. Please consider doing a post, after ready what the Supreme Court did and how it will impact the world Economy. Sincerely Jeffrey Lewis.

How interesting! I had one of Beatrix Potter's great nieces as a patient over here in America. She had several first editions of her books she said. She also played the piano beautifully at the nursing home. This has been 25 years ago, now, but as you love all things Beatrix, I thought I'd share.

Hello Michael! Because blueberries like an acid soil I grow them in big pots rather than in the ground. On top of the ericaceous soil (fancy word for acidic) I put cuttings of the Christmas tree. I get enough bloobs per pot to make a jar of jam. Lovely to see you nurturing your gorgeous plot of land. Xx
